So now that it's bee a week since I've had Nico, you know I've got a lot to tell you about.
But since I don't want to bore you to tears, I'll keep it fairly short. Overall, it's been great having a furry little companion. I love watching the silly things he does like how he walks when he poos or tries to get all the peanut butter off of his tongue.
He's especially an angel when he passes out (which is often).

Then there are days where he's not so great.
You can definitely tell he is still a puppy. He wants to chew anything that's available and wants to play with everything and everyone. Some days all I do is yell "No!" at him.
Sometimes it stinks not being able to spend all day out without worrying about having to feed him or let him out. It's different having to worry about the well being of another. But having a dog also has its fringe benefits. I don't snooze for a long time because I don't want Nico to pee in bed because he can't hold it anymore. So then I get to work early.
I've actually lost 5 pounds or so since I've gotten him. I walk at least 1 or 2 miles a day with him and I don't snack as much because I try to keep him from begging. Or I'm being active when him when I would usually just be lazy on the couch. I also get to shop without buying things for myself :p
Yay for dogs!
